How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
This is a great opportunity for high school students looking to get their volunteer hours, for theatre students or recent grads looking to check out the theatre scene, or anyone looking to have some fun this summer! Get to see free shows (1 ticket per shift that you work), more free shows (volunteer appreciation shows where you just show your volunteer t-shirt), and receive a quiet space at our Volunteer Headquarters to have snacks and decompress.
How will the organization benefit?
The Ottawa Fringe has relied on volunteers to ensure a lively, smooth, and organized festival. For us, volunteers are the gears without which the festival would not turn! With over 40 shows and thousands of festival goers over the course of 10 days, we're looking for close to 200 volunteers to help us with tasks such as ushering and way finding so our patrons have a great festival experience.
Volunteer location:
Arts Court 2 Daly Ave, Ottawa, K1N 6E2
