As the volunteer centre for Canada’s bilingual capital, it is extremely important for Volunteer Ottawa to communicate in both English and French.
We are urgently looking for experienced English-to-French translators to support our ability to provide communications in both official languages.

Translation materials would consist of:
Website updates
Outreach emails
Newsletter and e-Blast copy
Event communications
Most translation text is between 200 and 2,000 words.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Make use of your language skills while gaining experience as a translator and insight into the nonprofit sector. Ensure that French-speaking members of our community are adequately served. Stay up to date on the fun things happening at VO by helping us translate!
How will the organization benefit?
Volunteer Ottawa is a small local nonprofit which connects volunteers with the organizations who need their help. Working in the greater Ottawa region, it is vital for VO’s mission that we communicate well in both English and French.
