TEMBO Canada is a federally incorporated registered Canadian charity that partners with local organizations in Tanzania to address issues of girls’ education, empowerment of women, poverty and human rights.
The 2023 Village Walk Challenge features a 7-day virtual walk to villages in Longido District in Tanzania where TEMBO is actively working. Each walk will be approx. 6-8 km and feature the people, the landscape and the impact of TEMBO programs.

Your challenge is to build, and then lead a team of your friends and family as you move between 7 Tanzanian villages over 7 days from wherever you are. Put the word out on your social media to challenge others to sponsor you and your team during this event. Challenge your team to see who can raise the most money. Share your Village Walk Challenge experience on your social media with the #projectembo, #Villagewalk2023 and #TEMBOChallenge 2023
