CCI Ottawa’s main office, located in Centretown at 219 Argyle Ave, is being upgraded to better reflect a modern, hybrid work style. Volunteers are needed to provide support with a variety of tasks as CCI undergoes this transformation, including:
– Organizing files (checking dates and discarding expired documents);
– Shredding classified documents;
– Scanning and uploading documents to network for safe/secure storage;
– Moving, assembling and/or disassembling work spaces (desks, chairs, storage units);
– Other general office duties.

– Volunteers must be comfortable using technology to scan/upload documents to a central network.
– Volunteers must be able to perform some heavy lifting of items in storage (files stored in boxes/binders).
– Volunteers must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
– Volunteers must be available during week to complete MINIMUM 1 weekday shift (minimum 2 hours) per week (for at least 4 weeks).
