Hosted at Abbotsford Seniors Centre, Luncheon creates a community connection for older adults who are at risk of social isolation.
Members and clients of Abbotsford Seniors Centre are able to join for a meal and share in social conversations with others in an inviting environment.

Duties for the volunteer position include;
– Supporting with loading, unloading and clean up of dishes (dishwasher located in kitchen)
– Ensuring tea and coffee are made and accessible to participants
-Interacting in a courteous positive manner with all clients and members

Volunteers will help to provide a welcoming and encouraging environment to all, gain skills supporting older adults and learn how to successful run a luncheon program.

Our luncheon program is successful and supports a large group of members and clients, with volunteer support we are able to continue to improve our service.
Volunteer location:
950 Bank Street We are located directly on bus routes 6 and 7. Parking can be accessed for a small fee, or free street parking is available in the area for 2 hours.
