Graphics Artist To Illustrate 10 Cause Days Per Month

Are you interested in being a part of the team that builds on the impact of an amazing charity? Do you like creativity and the freedom to volunteer from wherever you like? Are you interested in making a significant contribution to the charitable sector? Can you make a long term commitment of 6 months or more? Do you have a few hours every week to contribute to your chosen assignments? Then maybe this is the opportunity for you!
Graphics Artist Required! This opportunity focuses on creating graphics for Cause Days that celebrate various causes close to the heart of Canadians Sharing. There are approximately 10 days per month we celebrate and the commitment is 5 hours per week over the next year. Expanding our media presence within the community, building relationships and expanding donor engagement are a few of our goals in this volunteer opportunity. Current or previous experience, a folder of your completed graphics, a complete Volunteer Ottawa application and your resume are required for consideration.

Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally is a registered charity that relieves the effects of poverty and creates new opportunities in India. Locally we share by engaging volunteers and building awareness of the needs and opportunities that people in India and elsewhere face. We build awareness in local communities throughout the world for our programs and the direct beneficial relief that our programs deliver.
Globally we share by engaging volunteers all over the world in supporting our charitable partners as we carry out nutritional, medical, educational and disaster relief programs that build health, relieve poverty, improve education and create the foundation for social change in India and Ukraine.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
The volunteer will have a chance to practice their skills and experiment with different artistic techniques to build their graphics portfolio with a team of volunteers.
How will the organization benefit?
We will join the current worldwide conversations around cause days. For example, the next Cause Day is International Day of World's Indigenous People on Aug. 9.
