TEMBO is currently seeking two board members to join our Board for a 3 year term. We seek an individual who understands communications strategy including social media. Other areas of expertise which would be beneficial for the TEMBO Board are accounting/finance, fundraising and law. Board members are required to Chair a committee and contribute to this working Board. An understanding and appreciation of education and/or micro-business in Africa would be a benefit.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
The volunteer would have the opportunity to use their skills and experience to make contributions to this charity which continues to change lives in Northern Tanzania. The successful candidates will work with a diverse group of volunteers and enjoy the opportunity of collaborating while contributing to the fundraising necessary to support TEMBO.
How will the organization benefit?
TEMBO will benefit from the knowledge and expertise which successful candidates bring to the Board. The organization wishes to continue to add diversity to the Board which will be important moving forward. As a working Board, successful candidates will make a significant difference to this small charity which has been operating in Tanzania for almost 20 years changing the lives of girls and women through educational opportunities.
