Jewish Youth Library of Ottawa

About Organization
The Jewish Youth Library of Ottawa and seeks to provide inclusive opportunities for volunteers, seniors, teens and children with special needs. The Friends at Home program, for instance, connects young volunteers to a child that has special needs, offering weekly visits and companionship in the child's home. The Jewish Youth Library also works on grants with New Horizons for Seniors which involves improving social and learning opportunities for Ottawa's 65+ community. We have produced a Wellness Guide for seniors and are currently working on an art book involving contributions from both teens and seniors. We hope to offer space to create understanding, compassion and education across the community.
